AutoOne Insurance Launches AutoOne Claim Services

MELVILLE (December 12, 2005) AutoOne Insurance, a part of the OneBeacon Insurance Group, today announced that is has launched AutoOne Claim Services. The new operation will provide outsourced claim services to companies that do not currently have a presence in the New York market or need assistance in managing this complex business.

"AutoOne continuously searches for new and innovative ways to serve the automobile insurance industry," said Carey Benson, AutoOne President and CEO. "With the launch of this new company, we complement our current offerings with outsourced services for companies that do not have them."

Jointly managed by AutoOne’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and Claims operation, services will include vehicle inspections and appraisals, claim handling, all forms of special investigative services, vehicle theft investigations, the filing of state-mandated carrier fraud-compliance plans and fraud-awareness training.

"AutoOne Claim Services will provide cost-effective, high-quality claim handling and investigative assistance to clients. We will aid them in making the right business decisions, allowing them to concentrate on their core claims handling," noted Harvey Aloni, Assistant Vice President – Special Investigations Unit, and Dennis Termotto, Assistant Vice President - Claims, who will jointly manage the company’s operations.

AutoOne is in the process of completing the necessary regulatory filings for authorization to further expand these services into the state of New Jersey. AutoOne Claim Services is a full-service claim operation that will be managed by AutoOne Management Company Inc.
